Trunk Show - From Appalachian Tradition to Art Quilts

With a showing of my quilts, you will see the journey of my work from the teachings of both my grandmothers, from my doll quilt made on a treadle sewing machine to present day art quilts. You will see how I have combined the two to create my own work.

"Imagination is More Important then Knowledge"

I have always told my students that they have imagination and they are using it even when they choose the colors of the quilts they are working on. I read this quote somewhere and was interested in who said it, so I started doing research to find out who the author was and if it is a total quote.

Class Fees are as follows:

• Lectures $300.00; Lecture with a workshop - $200.00

• Full Day Class: $400 per class, for up to 20 students, with an additional $10.00 per student up to 30, if space permits.

• Half Day Class: $350 per class, for up to 20 students, with an additional $10 per student up to 30. if space permits. Two half-day classes may be scheduled in a single day, or lecture with half-day class next day.

• Two Day Class: $700 per class, for up to 20 students, with an additional $10 per student up to 30, if space permits.
